Bills related to global warming before the 25th Alaska State Legislature - 2007 

  • HB53 TITLE: "An Act exempting low-volume oil production facilities from the requirements for oil discharge prevention and contingency plans and proof of financial responsibility." - while not directly related to climate change, this bill sounds like bad news.
  • HB 56 TITLE: "An Act establishing the Hydrogen Energy Partnership in the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development; requiring the commissioner of commerce, community, and economic development to seek public and private funding for the partnership; providing for the contingent repeal of an effective date; and providing for an effective date."
  • HB 63 TITLE: "An Act relating to the alternative energy grant fund and to alternative energy grants."
