UK Sailmakers England is the newest loft to join the UK Sailmakers International Group. Formerly Ultimate Sails, the independent loft was already a long established sailmaker in Hamble, England.

About the Owner : Kevin Sproul
Kevin has been in sail making since he was headhunted (by Sobstad) as a talented young sailor more than 30 years ago. As a sought after tactician and helm, Kevin has been successful nationally and internationally. Winning multiple World, European and National Championships in One designs such as the Swan 45, Farr 40, Soto 40, J111, Mumm 30, Melges 24 and the J80 (7 x National Champion). Numerous Cowes weeks, 3 x Commodores Cups, and the five big European Regatta’s (Palma Vela, Capri Rolex Cup, Carlo Negri Regatta, Porto Fino, Copa Del Rey Palma, Voiles St. Tropez) and most race days he can be found on the Solent or sometimes further afield making sure his clients and customers are getting the best from their sails.
Kevin is gifted with the talent to take what he sees on the water and put it directly into designs. He is very excited about joining the UK Sailmakers International Group, and connect with a network of lofts around the world.
